My name is Katherine Friar and I am 17 years old. I was born in Ithaca, NY but grew up in Austin, TX where I currently live. I became interested in modeling and acting because I feel that I will be able to help other women with their self-esteem and self-confidence. I possess many virtues that are important for the modeling/acting industry such as confidence, enthusiasm, patience, and my ability to put my best effort into everything I do.

I was accepted into Barbizon and am currently training at Barbizon where I am learning correct runway stances and turns, modeling poses and facial expressions, proper acting techniques, and many other important skills that I will need to know in order to be successful in the entertainment industry.

I have been dancing for 14 years and have been singing for 9 years. In my spare time I enjoy hair styling, make up artistry and photography.

I am pursuing a career in modeling and/or acting becuase of my confidence that I can succeed in the industry. I am interested in putting together a portfolio that I may submit to multiple modeling and acting agencies. I am interested in participating in all forms of modeling and acting.
